SurveyBob.com Release: May 9, 2009

Good news! SurveyBob ("Bob" for short) mutated again and now sports an awesome new survey distribution tool that we affectionately refer to as Bob Mail™. This is in response to requests from many of you to be able to track who has responded to your surveys sent via SurveyBob. You probably ought to read this whole post (Bob Mail Features and Steps For Using Bobmail) to better understand Bob Mail before you dive right in. If you are impatient like we sometimes are, go straight to http://www.SurveyBob.com to try out Bob Mail. But make sure to return to this post to read about all of the features!

We'd love to hear your feedback on Bob Mail, or SurveyBob in general for that matter! Let us know what you like, what could be improved, and any features you'd like to see added. Your vote makes a difference with Bob's future mutations. Once you've tried Bob Mail, please click on this survey link and give us feedback.

Bob Mail Features

  • Response Tracking – You enter recipient emails, then Bob distributes your surveys. He then not only keeps track of who you sent the survey to, but also who has and hasn’t responded – real time. Woohoo!
  • Add New Recipients – Forget someone? Just add them to the recipient list and send. No problemo.
  • Saved Email Text – Each time you send out a survey invitation, Bob saves the email text so that you can use it the next time you send out that survey.
  • Follow Up Messages – Now you can easily send reminders to people who haven’t yet responded. You can also inform people when a survey is closed and prompt them to view the final results. Simply select the recipients, update email text as necessary, then send.
  • Contact List – Recipients that you add for your surveys are automatically added to your Contact List. Next time you add recipients to a survey, their names will auto-complete as you start typing them, making it that much quicker.
  • Spreadsheet Export – When you use Bob Mail, then export your survey results to a spreadsheet, you can now see who gave which responses. Slick!

It is definitely worth repeating that Bob will always keep your data and email address completely secure. Also, we will never share or sell this information with anyone.

Hopefully you will find these additions to be as cool as we do!
